Do you have an idea for a story or know someone who has an inspiring story to tell?
We are always looking for true, inspiring, motivational or challenging articles that encourage believers to live out their faith, to be authentic and to be salt to the world.
Our topics include:
The Fire – Tell us how the Holy Spirit inspired you to make a change in the world around you. We’ll also consider articles on how to be the match that lights the flame. 700 words.
Faith – This is one of our broadest topics. Tell us about your faith and how you’ve applied it to making a change. How has God blessed your faith and changed your life? 700 words.
Inspiration – Do you know how to overcome an obstacle in life? Do you know someone who has inspired you to make a change? We love stories that will inspire others to make a change in their lives, too. Share with us. 700 words.
Missions – Missions is usually thought of as going to a foreign country to share the gospel and build churches and hand out medical supplies. These are stories we look for. But missions don’t end there. Our workplace, our back yard, our neighborhood – these are all mission fields, as well. The harvest is ripe all around us. We’d love to hear your stories of reaching out to others for Christ. What has God called you to do? 700 words.
Relationships – How have you influenced others? Whether strangers, acquaintances, co-workers, friends or family, we relate to others every moment of our lives. How can we impact others to make a difference? 700 words.
Reviews – Have you seen a movie, read a book, heard a story that has sparked a change in your life? We are looking for reviews that contain a testimony within them. 550 words.
(Previously published articles & blog posts will be considered as well as excerpts from books that can stand on their own as articles.)
Artist of the Month. We are always looking for artists to feature as our Artist of the Month. If you know someone who writes, paints, takes pictures, sings, dances, or does any other creative thing, please let us know who they are and how we may get in touch with them.
Ministry of the Month– Are you a part of or do you know of a ministry doing something special to serve? We’re looking for ministries to feature each month. Sometimes we will feature them for two months. If you know of a ministry that is making an impact for God, please forward us a link to their website, a contact person’s name and contact info, and we will be in touch.
Inspire a Fire is a non-profit ministry site. Although we are unable to provide monetary compensation, we do wish to promote you with an author bio, photo and links to your website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter account or any other Christian site you’d like us to link you to. Please include a small .jpeg photo of yourself, a short bio and any links you’d like us to include with your submission. Thank you!
