Prayer for Family and Friends

LiveLaughLove

It happens every year at this time. May approaches with graduations, weddings, and end-of-the-school-year activities and events. Life sure can get busy. Sometimes it is impossible to attend all the special days of those we love.

But families have close ties.

And those ties begin when we are growing up. We learn family expectations. We practice family traditions. Our hearts are tied together with a bond that cannot be broken even when we are far away on special days, ordinary days, and those days that are in between.

The same is true in the family of Christians.

We learn how to live from the teachings of the Bible. We grow through fellowship with otherChristmas tags believers. Our hearts are tied together in Christian love as the familiar hymn reminds, even when our lives sometimes take us far away from our close brothers and sisters in Christ.

It happens every year at this time. Life gets so busy with special days, ordinary days, and those days that are in between.

Will you join me in prayer today and thank God for those He has tied to your heart? Will you pray for all of their days?
